SummaryYou can delete your SignalBench account at any time. Every piece of personal data we hold about you is erased within 30 days, including data we received from Google, Meta, and TikTok via their APIs.
1. What this page covers
This page explains how SignalBench handles account and data deletion requests. It applies to:
- Account holders — people who signed up to SignalBench directly.
- Users of our advertising integrations — anyone whose data SignalBench received from Google Ads, Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads through authorized API calls.
- Leads captured via landing pages — individuals whose email addresses were collected through a landing page published by a SignalBench account holder.
2. Self-serve account deletion
To delete your SignalBench account and all associated personal data:
- Sign in at app.signalbench.io.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Click Delete my account and confirm in the modal.
After confirmation, your account and its associated projects, campaigns, and generated content are immediately marked for deletion. Hard deletion from our primary database happens within 24 hours. Backup copies rotate out within 30 days.
3. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access your account — for example, because you lost access to the Google account you used to sign in — email privacy@signalbench.io from the address associated with your SignalBench account and include the sentence:
Required phrase“I request deletion of my SignalBench account and all associated data.”
We respond within 72 hours to confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.
4. Deleting data received from Google, Meta, and TikTok
When you connect your advertising account, SignalBench stores the minimum data needed to manage the campaigns you authorize us to run: account IDs, campaign IDs, ad-level metrics, and the OAuth tokens required to call the platform API on your behalf.
On account deletion, SignalBench:
- Revokes every OAuth token we hold against your Google, Meta, and TikTok accounts.
- Purges cached campaign metadata, performance metrics, and creative assets linked to your account.
- Removes any platform-derived personal data (for example, account contact emails retrieved from the platform APIs) from our primary database within 24 hours and from encrypted backups within 30 days.
You can also revoke SignalBench's access directly from each platform at any time:
- Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Meta: Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
- TikTok: TikTok for Business → Account → Connected Applications
5. Leads captured by campaigns you ran
If you are an account holder and you delete your account, leads captured by your published landing pages are deleted alongside your projects, subject to any export you requested beforehand.
If you are a lead — someone who submitted your email through a SignalBench landing page — and you want your email address removed, email privacy@signalbench.io with the subject “Lead erasure request” and include the landing-page URL you submitted through. We locate and remove your record within 30 days and confirm completion by email.
6. What we retain after deletion
We retain only the minimum data required to meet legal obligations:
- Billing and tax records for the period required by tax law in our operating jurisdiction (typically up to 10 years).
- Security and audit logs for up to 90 days, where retaining them is necessary to investigate fraud or abuse.
These retained records are kept in access-restricted storage.
7. Confirming deletion
Once deletion is complete, we send a confirmation email to the address on file. If you did not receive confirmation within 30 days, email privacy@signalbench.io and we will investigate.
